What does the renewal process involve?
The VETASSESS renewal process involves a reassessment of your original skills assessment, plus any new qualifications or employment. You may extend the validity of your skills assessment, with or without additional qualifications or work experience. Your skills must meet the current criteria for your occupation.
Quick facts on VETASSESS skills assessments
Positive skills assessments are valid for 3 years. Once expired, it cannot be renewed. You'll need to submit a new assessment.
Renewal applications can be submitted online through your VETASSESS portal before your assessment expires.
The cost is AUD$490.60 (if applying in Australia) or AUD$446.00 (outside Australia).
