Nominate a migrant worker

If you are an approved sponsor, you can start nominating migrant workers

How can I nominate a successful candidate?

To nominate a migrant worker for an Australian visa, an employer must first be an approved sponsor. Once the employer is an approved sponsor, they can nominate a migrant worker for a visa.

Australian Shores can help you identify or confirm successful candidates, and our eligibility assessment will give you confidence that they will meet the Department of Home Affairs' (DHA) stringent eligibility criteria for the visa program they are being nominated for, such as having the required skills and qualifications.

Employer nomination application

Your migration agent will submit a nomination application to the Department of Home Affairs, along with the required supporting documentation. The nomination application must include details of the position being filled, the salary being offered, and the relevant occupation code.

Employer obligations

It's important to note that being a sponsor and nominator comes with certain obligations, such as ensuring that sponsored workers are paid the market salary rate and keeping accurate records. Employers should also be aware of their obligations to ensure that the migrant worker has access to appropriate working conditions and entitlements under Australian workplace laws.
