Points for age under the General Skilled Migration Visa

The younger you are, the more points

Claiming points for age

The cut-off age for General Skilled Migration visas is 45 and the maximum points you can claim for age is 30, for at least 25 but less than 33 years of age. You will need to provide supporting evidence of your age when you submit your visa application.

What if I am over the age limit?

Principal Applicants aged 45 or over will not be eligible for a General Skilled Migration visa.

Note there are other options if you are over the age limit. You might qualify for a temporary or resident visa under other categories, such as a business or a parent visa. You may also have a partner who is under the age limit and could sponsor you.
